Taraf de Caliu at Kruhnen Music Hall
After more than 30 years of touring around the world, the founding members of Taraf de Haidouks have returned home and started a new project - Taraf de Caliu. Under the magical bow of violinist Caliu, the Haidouks have hit the road again. This time they come to Kruhnen Musik Halle.
The artists, who hail from Clejani, Giurgiu County, have performed on many of the world's great stages and their talent has won them numerous awards, including at the Golden Stag Festival.
Their fans include actor Johnny Depp (with whom they appeared in the movie "The Man Who Cried"), Yehudi Menuhin, the Kronos Quartet (with whom they have performed and recorded) and renowned fashion designer Yohji Yamamoto.
The musicians from Clejani are the latest generation of lutenists to carry on this traditional music from the south of Romania, music that has made them one of the most appreciated gypsy bands in the world.

The cost of a reservation in advance is 50 lei/person for which you receive a consumable card, cost to be paid when picking up the card. For the issuance of the consumable card you pay a deposit of 10 lei/card, which is refunded when you hand over the card. The card is to be used exclusively on the evening of the event and is to be picked up at the entrance of the club, in the access area.
