Project created by the Antistatic Association and co-financed by the Capital City Hall through ARCUB within the Bucharest - Open City 2021 Program
Walking the streets with fame is a project initiated by the Antistatic Association that aims to create a closer connection between people and the city. He continues the Famous Streets project, taking it to as many people as possible. The initiative started from a well-known everyday reality: most people do not know who were the personalities who gave names to the streets of Bucharest.
Thus, they made plaques that present information about the respective personalities, but also their images illustrated by Romanian artists. Walking on famous streets, he wants to reach more Bucharesters, by organizing a series of guided tours, connecting the history of personalities with that of the city. The Antistatic Association will continue to make information leaflets for another 50 personalities, prioritizing areas outside the cultural center of the capital.
