Born in Râmnicu-Vâlcea in 1990, Bogdan began studying the kobza at the age of 15. Since 2006, he has been traveling through Romania to collect lute songs and learn from the few remaining cobzari. He has collaborated with artists from various musical fields, such as Mihai Mărgineanu, Taraf de Haidouks, Les Elephants Bizarres, Chimie, Samurai and others.
