Born in 1990 in Râmnicu-Vâlcea, Bogdan began learning the kobza at the age of 15. Since 2006 he has been traveling through Romania to collect lute songs and learn from the few remaining cobzari. He has collaborated with artists from various musical fields, such as Mihai Mărgineanu, Taraf de Haidouks, Les Elephants Bizarres, Chimie, Samurai and others.
